Featuring multiple food trucks including Simmer Down and Rita’s Margaritas plus Rex Bohn barbecuing oysters and tri-tip. Live music from the Jason Albert Hall Quartet playing upbeat jazz, followed by the Compost Mountain Boys for all to hear.
Larry Trask and KHUM will be broadcasting from our location throughout the day. Our brewery will be open for tours, merchandise sales, and beer sales. We will have the Humboldt Beer Distributors beer trailer on site to allow us to pour in several locations. We will have our full 16 beer lineup. There will be lawn games with an opportunity to win beer schwag.
Before the event, we are selling tickets to a VIP experience from 2-3 pm that will allow the VIPs to meet the brewers, and get a behind the scenes tour on the floor of the bottling line. The VIP event will feature several specialty beers and the Cafe’s infamous chicken wings with all the fixings. Specialty beers to include a Passion Fruit/Mango Sharkinator, Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout, and a double dry hopped Spring IPA that won’t be available after the event.
This is a family friendly event. We’ll have Humboldt Creamery Ice Cream and Lost Coast’s own root beer for non-drinkers.
Scrap Humboldt will be here from 1-3 pm showing folks how to upcycles our bottlecaps into something fabulous. $5 donation to them gets you a special handcrafted item (or two) to take home!! Local country supergroup the Honky Tonk Detours play from 6-8:30pm.
Nobody knows why, but everyone loves themselves some IPA... Oh wait, we do to! Humboldt Beer Week just wouldn't be the same without an IPA tap takeover! Come treat yourself to IPA, IPA, and more IPA. Your taste buds will be too spoiled and happy to even know what to do!
It's Mad River Brewing Company's featured night during HBW! We have a beer/cheese pairing with Cypress Grove on tap for you. Plus a special Cask Night! AND if you wear MRBCo gear you get $1 off your beer--even Hoppy Hour-priced beers!! Local rock favorites Doug Fir and the 4x4's play from 6-8:30pm.
We're always excited to let places with such talent take over our taps- you know them from just down the road in Blue Lake, the wonderful Mad River Brewery. We'll be featuring a number of specialty barrel aged beers from one of our favorites!

We'll have a number of high octane barrel aged ciders from a number of ciderys- including Snowdrift, Finn River, Humboldt Cider Co, and more!
